About
WCHS is a digital broadcast radio station with the goal of amplifying the voice of Communications High School (CHS) students.
While councils change year to year due to the nature of graduation and time, our advisor, Bill Bengle, has run the club for a long time and is passionate about giving students the freedom of communication through the station.

Whether you're a student looking to get involved with WCHS, or a listener looking for more information, we have our basic information here!
If you have any further questions, email chsradio@ctemc.org or bbengle@ctemc.org.
As a CHS student, how can I join WCHS?
Through 10th-12th grade, you can choose to take various radio classes. These classes will maximize your time on air and teach you how to effectively broadcast. If not enrolled in these classes, you can join Radio Club by emailing chsradio@ctemc.org for more information.
What is DJ Friday?
On Fridays, students will set up radio club members and their audio gear to play a playlist of their own for the student body. Any member of radio club can do this, just get trained by asking a council member how!
When can I join radio club?
ANYTIME! Ask for the classroom code, start showing up to meetings, signing up for shows, and you're all set!
